The Hormone Reset: Balance for Better Health
Jul 17, 2025
I talk to women every single day who say the same thing.
"I feel exhausted all the time." "No matter what I eat or how hard I try, the weight just won’t budge." "I don’t feel like myself anymore."
And more often than not, the doctors say it’s just part of aging. Or worse, they run labs, tell you everything looks "normal," and send you on your way with a prescription or a pat on the back. But I’m here to tell you something different: it’s not all in your head. And you are not broken.
This is your hormones speaking. And they’re asking for attention, not medication.
Hormones: The Communication Network of the Body
Hormones are messengers. They travel through the bloodstream, telling your body when to sleep, when to eat, when to burn fat, and how to regulate your mood. And when just one part of the system goes out of balance, everything else can feel like it’s unraveling.
That’s especially true in perimenopause, which can start as early as your 30s. It’s a time when your body starts to shift gears hormonally, but most women aren’t told what’s coming. So when the changes hit, insomnia, hot flashes, anxiety, low libido, and unexpected weight gain, it feels like you’ve been blindsided.
What’s worse is that many women are told these symptoms are just a part of being a woman. You have to live with it. I don’t believe that. And I’ve seen what happens when women are finally given real tools to support their hormones.
Why Hormone Imbalance Happens
Your hormones don’t operate in isolation. They’re deeply tied to your liver, lymphatic system, gut health, mineral levels, and even your emotional state. When those systems are overloaded or undernourished, your hormones start firing out of sync.
Stress is a big one. Chronic stress raises cortisol, and high cortisol can suppress progesterone, spike insulin, and throw your thyroid off. That’s a recipe for burnout, brain fog, and feeling like your body’s turned against you.
Toxic load is another huge factor. From the products on our skin to the pesticides in our food, our bodies are filtering chemicals daily. And those toxins can mimic or block hormones, leaving your endocrine system confused and out of rhythm.
The Regenerative Approach to Hormone Reset
What I teach inside the Institute of Regenerative Health is simple: the body wants to heal. You just need to create the right environment for it to do what it’s designed to do.
That means we stop trying to force hormones into submission and start asking what they’re trying to tell us.
1. We support detox first.
Your liver and kidneys process excess hormones. If those systems are sluggish, hormones recirculate instead of being cleared. So we focus on things like:
- Proper hydration with minerals
- Daily movement to support the lymph
- Foods that gently nourish liver function
You don’t need fancy protocols. You need consistency and real support.
2. We nourish with living food.
Your hormones actually love whole, plant-rich meals, especially fruit. Yes, fruit. It’s loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and natural sugars your cells can actually use.
Instead of depriving your body, we feed it what it’s been missing. And over time, the body begins to respond. Energy returns. Cycles regulate. Sleep improves. This is what balance feels like.
3. We regulate the nervous system.
You can’t reset hormones in a body that’s constantly in fight or flight. So many women are living in survival mode, which sends their adrenals into overdrive. That’s why emotional regulation, breath work, and fascia release are part of what I teach.
Because when the nervous system feels safe, the body stops bracing. It starts to heal.
Real Women, Real Results
I’ve walked with hundreds of women who have completely changed their relationship with their hormones using these foundational tools. Women who were told they needed hormone replacement therapy at 35, but instead learned how to naturally support progesterone through mineral balance and nervous system care.
Women who hadn’t had a cycle in months, who felt emotionally flat, exhausted, and unseen, who now feel alive again. And not because they were fixed, but because they were finally supported.
You’re Not Meant to Struggle
If your body is speaking through fatigue, weight gain, mood swings, or irregular cycles, listen. Don’t silence it with another pill or suppress it with shame. These symptoms are your body’s way of asking for help.
In regenerative health, we don’t chase symptoms. We restore terrain. We listen. We nourish. And we give the body the space to remember its own rhythm.
Where You Can Begin
Simple. Start by drinking water. I personally use a LumiVitae hydrogen water bottle to support deeper hydration at the cellular level. It’s a small shift that can make a big difference.
Add in more raw, hydrating foods. Prioritize sleep. Move your lymph. And take a breath, because that alone shifts your biology.
You don’t have to do everything at once. But you do have to begin.
If you’re ready to take the next step, whether to heal yourself or help others do the same, our 34-week Regenerative Health Certification is open. It’s where I teach these methods in-depth, and where you’ll be guided by a team that walks the talk.
Because when women are educated, empowered, and supported, everything changes.
And that includes your hormones.
